Family Leave Insurance Benefits - General Information

SPECIFIC PROGRAM INFORMATION

Most New Jersey workers who apply for Family Leave Insurance are covered under the State Plan or an approved Private Plan. If you are not sure of your coverage you should ask your employer.

There is another program that provides family leave insurance benefits if your family leave starts more than 14 days after your last day of work. This is called Family Leave During Unemployment.
